Entered hours in Resource Usage change automatically

Hello,

Good afternoon, we are using MS Project to track hours of a project that has already been completed.

I am entering the hours in the Resource Usage View.

However, every now and then if I entered:

Monday 6 hours
Tuesday 2 hours

It automatically chages to:

Monday 6.37 hours
Tuesday 1.63 hours

Note that the total hours do not change, but we are not looking to "optimize" a project that has already been completed. We just want to log all the hours.

Is there a way to turn this automatic calculation OFF?

Ok... I think I know what I am doing wrong.

For this case we should use "Actual Work"
