i have a current project now, retrofitting a building. I'm planning to use carbon fiber as jacket/reinforcement to the existing columns of the building, but the problem is i don't know much about the details of carbon fiber. Please help me anyone about the details of carbon fiber, and how to apply it to the columns to be retrofitted.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!

You'll get reasonably good info from the manufacturers. Try SikaUSA. Talk to one of the tech reps who has experience with it. I have used it once or twice (people mover pre-cast concrete repair) but I know a local engineer who has used it extensively in an industrial application. He uses Sika, exclusively.

thank you very much! i'll try that.
