Hello,
Does anyone know a good specification (SAE, ANSI, ASME....) for specifying wrench/tool/socket clearances required to maintain proper access?

ImnotfromMars,

There is a table on wrench clearances in the Machinery's Handbook.

We have our own socket clearances for our assembly. The impact sockets somtimes have a bigger Outside Diameter than the values in the machinery handbook. Just a thought
