Does anyone know how to export historical data from Wincc to csv format without having to pay Siemens?
Also how to get rid of the "i" (integer) mark in the trend screens for WinCC

thanks

What do you mean by "without having to pay Siemens"?

If you have the WinCC software, you can store data in a .csv file; there is no "charge" for being able to do that.

If you do not own the software, this forum is not a place where you can learn how to illegally circumvent software licensing.

If you own the software and have forgotten how to do it, you can get free technical assistance from Siemens up to a point, but the tech support people are not there to provide a week of free training over the phone. They will expect that you are a trained user and just need simple guidance / refreshing of the specific skill. You can also use the FAQ pages provided by Siemens
WinCC .csv file storage question reference

If you are a new user and have had no training, I suggest you invest in it ASAP. Like all highly capable software systems, SCADA programs like WinCC are not something that untrained users can be expected to use effectively by just walking up to it and banging on a keyboard.

jraef, we own the software,by saying "without having to pay Siemens" I talk about the additional package called dat@monitor.

We, my company use, external programmers, to construct the WinCC applications for our customers. Sometimes we are asked about exporting the trend data to csv format. The programmers we are using say that it is possible but only if we buy the datamonitor additional package from Siemens....hence my question.
