Looking for some insight...

Severe water damage to a commercial warehouse (pipe burst). Portions of a plaster ceiling fell onto insulated glass panels below (see attached pic file).

I am looking for guidance on how to clean the glass when remnants of plaster in the form of wet streaks and spotting are present on the glass panels. My concern is that the glass may be scratched if attempted to clean. Are there industry guidelines out there for this cleaning process?

Thank you in advance for any insight.

Perhaps pressure washing or steam cleaning would resolve the issue without scratching the glass. Otherwise if the glass is already or does become damaged after attempts to clean it, could it not be claimed on the insurance loss along with the other damages caused by the pipe burst?

If alkalai, it can 'etch' glass surfaces or maybe 'dull' them.
