vibration course

Hello all,

I'm looking for a vibration course, that handles the general topics of vibration data-acquisition, signal analysis etc.
The course should be given in Europe, preferably in the Netherlands. Tips on courses in other continents / countries are also welcome.

Bently Nevada in the Netherlands runs some pretty good courses, but they are very focused on machinery with fluid film bearings. Go to

If you want to got the UK then the ISVR at Southhampton University runs various courses at all levels. Their 3 day course on Advanced NVH is very good indeed. Nice people and very clever.

B&K's courses are a bit variable - usually very good on theory, but I don't much like their modern analysers so time spent on them is a bit of a waste for me. Their introductory booklets are exceptionally good, especially for the non-academic. Their proper books - "Frequency Analysis" and "Mechanical Vibration and Shock Measurements" are indispensable.
