vector fonts in CK19

I am using cadkey 19, and exporting to DXF for laser cutting. The drawings have 2 layers, one for the parts, one for text. The laser cutter does not recognize the CADKEY 19 text because it is not a vector font. Is this true? Can CK19 produce a vector font? Is there an add-in?
