I need to specify surface load which is non standard. I am using the user-defined load option but it gives the error that usersubroutine DLOAD not found. Where do I put the subroutine . I tried putting it in the same directory as the job file but didn't work. I added it at the end of the .inp file and it still gave the same error. Please tell me what I should do.

thanks,
Manoj

Example command to run using DLOAD subroutine in file "mydload.f":

abaqus j=job1 user=mydload.f

thanks! using the command did help me move forward but now it gives the error df.exe not found. I am using Force2 compiler for FORTRAN which is a free software. What should do?

I have installed Intel Fortran 9. Abaqus gives the following error now. Does any one know why?

thanks

Manoj,

I can't help you there. The linker is finding trouble with the library (which I think is C++). Try asking the question in the Fortran Forum or C++ Forum on eng-tips. Also, try googling the error.

Good luck

I was wondering if you got anywhere with your link error. I'm getting the same thing.

actually I did. I am using the Intel FOrtran 9.0 with Visual c++ 6.0 and ABAQUS 6.4-1. I had to install a different version of VC++as the other one was corrupt and it didn't give this error but it still gave some other error. I asked the ABAQUS helpdesk . They sent me a workaround for Intel 8 compiler and VC++.NET and ABAQUS 6.5. That worked for me as well. You need to make changes in .env file.

good luck!
