I have got a couple of files on a laptop that I want to back up. The problem is that it does not have a CDR and the files are to large to put on to floppy.
I have a USB pen drive but NT does not suport USB technology does anybody know a way to make the usb work or have any other sugestions about how i can backup 267Mb of data? thanks in advance Garry

Does the laptop have a network (ethernet) port, or can you borrow a PCMIA ethernet card? You could relatively quickly move the data over the ethernet port to a computer with a network card, and burn it on that computers CD burner.

Garry,

Microsoft have stated that "NT 4 does not support USB, and there are no plans in the future to alter this".

Check out the USB pendrive manufacturer's website - you may be in luck with them having a little piece of software that will allow a connection but be warned - such drivers can cause problems, and are generally not guaranteed to work.

Just upload the information to a webstie anmd download it on to the new computer.

First of all I would like to thank everybody for there sugestions but unforntunently I cannot connect to the internet because the Laptop is from my friends old work and it is configured to only connect to there internal network but I managed to fix this problem buy installing partition magic and then creating a partition. I then installed ME and used the usb hard drive. Thanks again for you help,
Garry
