Hey all,
Up in an attic right now (gotta love modern tech) looking for some truss tags to determine possibly manufacturer and truss number. Is any place better to look than another? I have looked at the heel bit it is only 6" tall with blown in over the bottom chord so it is kinda difficult to look at each one. Any help would be great as it is 90 outside today so.....

The tags are almost always on the first diagonal chord at one end or the other. If you don't find a tag there, I would assume they were removed during construction.

Look at both ends. Tags will likely be there. They will also likely be painted with primer, so might be a bit hard to spot.

I assume these are metal open-web trusses?

Did you find them or pass out up there? I had to do an inspection the other day around 4pm in an attic (in Florida) and it was so hot it took my breath away. 4 minutes later I was out of there and soaked.

I have to say, I have been in a lot of attics and I cannot say I have ever seen a tag...?
