The IT department moved the catvba file from one network drive to another, deleting the old location.
Using the Tools>Macro>Macros… Alt+F8 in the pulldown menus, the process is hung while a Microsoft process identifier show CATIA.exe repeatedly looking for the old path.
After an hour or more, the sub-window allowing a new VBA project to be added finally comes up. The old location is no longer shown (hence, cannot be deleted) and adding the new location takes, and macro will run thereafter until CATIA is restarted.
After the restart, the VBA project does not need to be re-added, but the initialization still requires an hour or more.
The path was also changed under Tools>Options then selecting General from the tree and Macros tab, and removed the previous "Default macro libraries" location and added the new location in its place.
This cleared up on one machine with after also clearing the CatSettings. With two other machines, the issue persists.
Thanks in advance for any insights that might assist in resolving this issue.
