toolbar setup

Does anyone know what I have to do to only get certain toolbars to open with different applications? Like I want a drawing toolbar that I have created to only open up when I open a drawing. But it just stays up no matter what I open. Any suggestions?

Have you tried adding icons to the existing drawing toolbar? This will show only in drawing mode.

To customize your toolbars:
Utilities>Customize screen

Select the toolbars tab
uncheck any toolbars you DON't want to see like drawing.
Check Toolbar1 at the bottom.
Now choose the Commands tab. Select the appropiate category on the left such as drawing and drag the icons you want to the new, empty toolbar you just added.
