Air is not free! As a rule, it takes about .25 hp to produce 1 scfm. At a cost of $.08/Kwh, this means that an air consumption of 120 scfm running 24/7 would cost over $15,000/year.
 
yes, u r right. compressed air always cost us. So we should do every effort to reduce air leakages & to use compessed air in optimesed & efficient way so that to save energy cost.
