BigH & associates:

Honored to have access to geo knowledge and expertise. I have perused thru some of your Threads, and I find some very interesting.

Foundations.......
My limited experience is with precast and H-pile, and drilled shafts (dry, cased, uwater, and slurry displaced)
Most of my experience has been in the field.

Drumchaser - good to have you on board! I am sure that we will all benefit from your experience. You do like jazz do you not? FYI, we come in "all ages" - I am of the mid-70s graduate years . . . why I understand Bjerrum, Tomlinson, Seed rather than the new tigers!

BigH...based on the past threads I rifled thru, the benefit should be to me.

Jazz... sure, but I prefer the blues. The older stuff, as there are not much real blues as of late.

I graduated/went to work in the early eighties (during the last recession) what bleak times.

Thanks again, as I always have concerns, and needs of the geotechnical variety.

Drumchaser - so you are a fan of Leadbelly? Now, that was a blues singer! Sang himself into a pardon.

Welcome Drumchaser....Blues fan here, too.
BigH is a hell of a geotech resource, as you've probably gathered from his posts.

All - check out fattdad's post on John Cephas - another bluesman who is now visiting his maker.
