Hello,

I am involved in a project with several other partners and am creating an ms project file to mapout my partivipation in the project. For example I have a task that has 3 subtasks. The task is scheduled to last 6 months. Of those 6 months my part will take 2 months split across the 3 sub tasks. So can I get the main task (summary task I think) to show 6 months for the duration and teh sub tasks to show various amounts adding up to 2 months?

Any help greatly appreciated. This is MS Project 2007

Thanks

What's there to do? Your 3 tasks are indented under the summary task, and the summary task starts at the start of the first task, and the summary tassk ends at the end of the last task. It's up to you to schedule so that the elapsed time is 6 months.
