Seem like a strange subject... a month ago I had never heard of Gonzaga University. Now, thanks to MRM, I know at least something about it. This morning my wife was reading the local weekly paper and mentioned that a certain student (we don't know her) had made the Dean's List, and that the name of the University sounded familiar. Immediately said "I know where that is!" You guys (or as I really should say: "y'all") would be surprised how often you (BigH, MRM, Ron, JAE, McCoy, et. al.) make a virtual "visit" at our home.

SRE....keep the coffee on. We might all stop by! I'm closer so don't rule it out!

Happy and safe 4th to you and your family!

SRE, is the croc still around in your garden? I remember the picture you posted a few years ago, if it's grown up I may have some qualms about that coffee....

Hope you all had a great 4th! (and me, too, a great 1st!!) - just got back to the jungle after a 3 day visit to Kuala Lumpur . . . not quite making SC . . . but if I do get in, I'll pass on the coffee (never drink it) - but have a coke with chemicals (diet) on hand! SRE - I will want you to take me to some good Charleston and SC eateries!;

BigH - Have three good restaurants in mind for you:
Go to downtown Charleston to a great seafood place - will have to go early or stand in line for a couple of hours
Out in the country for traditional South Carolina pork BBQ - cooked for two days over oak coals - only open on Fridays & Saturdays
Up to Pawleys Island for the best Italian food around

I've heard of the SC Pork BBQ . . . There is also a small restaurant in town . . . will have to look up my notes . . . Have a few high school and uni friends in SC too.

SlideRuleEra: Great! It's good to hear I'm welcome somewhere (virtually speaking, that is...) I hope you're enjoying your time, and all the best to you and yours!
