Staad Pro calculation applying with EN 1993-1-8:2005 chapter 3.10.3

Hi

I am working together with a steel designer who is using Staad Pro. The design is to comply with EN 1993 however only EN 1993-1-1 can be selected in Staad.

Does this consider what is written in EN 1993-1-8, more specifically what is written in chapter 3.10.3 regarding the ultimate resistance?

According to this chapter the design resistance is affected by a reeducation factor which depends on the design of the bolted connection.

If this isent included how is it implementet in to STAAD?

Thanks in advance I would rely appreciate if someone could help me understand this part.

A colleague of mine in the UK helped me out with this, but he's not a member so I'm posting on his behalf:

The requirements of BS EN 1993-1-8:2005, as noted below, are not implemented in Staad.Pro.

However, a design check is implemented which allows for holes due to fasteners in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-1:2005:

This is allowed for by using the Design parameter noted below:
