Is there a way to create the letter "a" in NX, as shown in the picture below ?
I need to create it using curves and the text feature.

You just have to use the right font file. For many years now, NX has supported TrueType fonts, so just make sure that you're using the correct font file and that you've entered the correct character. You may have to use a keyboard mapping scheme to get the right character, like I did here when I typed 'São Paulo-Brasil'.

Thank you.
I guess I knew this, but I was drawing a blank.

But speaking of São Paulo, if you ever get a chance to visit, don't miss the Municipal Market. It's a great place to experience the epicurean culture of Brazil and as such, as great place to stop for lunch:

The food looks delicious, and the market looks like a cool place too. (wow)

Yes, two of the most interesting shops, in terms of the choices that one would have, was the nut shop...

...and the spice shop...

I didn't by any spices that day, but I did buy some Cashews, which they grow in Brazil. In fact, this was where I learned that Cashews aren't really a nut like most other nuts, in that they're actually part of a fruit that looks sort of like an Apple, which they press for the juice. They only export the 'nut' not the fruit as it does not travel well.

Sorry for getting this thread off track...

At a time when I am trying to lose weight looking at these pictures is not helping me.

Pretty sure that sandwich was developed by cardiologists to drum up business.

Perhaps, but it was good and the beer that I had with it wasn't bad either ;-)

Taken on that same trip to Brazil, I'm the guy on the end in the blue shirt (I've lost about 30 lbs since that photo was taken):

Note that I was in São Paulo for an engineering conference at the University there, where I was one of the speakers, and this was a shot of some of the other people who also gave presentations.

Nice pic.
I have seen you many times at the Chicago/Wisconsin Regional Users Meetings.
