My Solidworks feature manager window is split into two parts. The top window for controlling hide/show bodies and the bottom window for editing features.

My problem is that every time I click on a feature in the bottom window the top window also jumps to that feature on the history tree. That means I constantly have to scroll a long way back up to the bodies folder in the top window.

Do you know a way to keep one of the two feature manager from jumping like this?

Thanks.

Grab the divider bar (point and click/hold) that splits your Feature Manager and drag it up/down as desired to have only one window.

Go to Tools > Options > System Options > Feature Manager and deselect Scroll selected item into view

The problem is not restoring the ftr mgr back into one window.

I should have added this to my original post - I intentionally split the feature mgr into two windows so I can have faster acess to the bodies folder and feature without having to scrolling up and down
the history tree

Thanks Cro you answered my question while I was typing the 2nd reply.

How can I have the "scroll selected item into view" deselected for one window and selected (functioning)in the other window?

for example: My ftr mgr is split into two windows the top window will be able to "scroll selected ..." and the bottom window is not enabled for "scroll selected ..."
