I have been using Solidworks 2007 on a workstation and want to swith to a laptop ideally a Macbook Pro for more flexibility. Unfortunately my dongle is a parrallel port not a USB version. Modern Laptops don't have parallel ports - is there any way round this? Solidworks can only offer an upgrade to 2010 they say they stopped making dongles in 2008.

Codeware discontinued the use of parallel port dongles for the COMPRESS software (subject of this forum) a couple of years ago. All customers with active SUS subscriptions had their parallel port dongles exchanged for USB dongles. I assume that Solidworks has done the same.
