Solid Lubricant

Any help with this problem would be appreciated,
I'm using a guillotine to cut stacks of product. we presently ues a Dow Corning (557) silicone dry film lubricant for the guillotine blade. For environmental and health reasons I would like to stop using a spray product. Does anyone know of a soild silicone based lubricant that could be wiped or rubbed on. Thanks in advane for any help.

I have had some experience with bearings in the past. There are many different types of bearings. (IE-ball, taper, single, double, needle, shielded, clutch, lock, slip,) to name a few. They come in different sizes, Length, inside and outside diameters, as well as materials. All manufactures have there on bearing numbers but most are ASA or Metric. Try going to a Powertransmission store, they can give you catalogs on different types and sizes. Try this site

How about getting away from silicone completely? Have you thought of graphite? It works quite well in low heat situations and can be dispersed into very small areas using plain rubbing alcohol as a carrier.
