Sizing spray tower

I'm searching a program for sizing spray towers (without packing)in height and diameter. I need it for calculating humidifiers for dry air.

I know that it is quite difficult to calculate such columns, so if there doesn't exist any program I would be happy for any information sources about this.

Contact a cooling tower vendor. There used to be spray towers for cooling lquids which resulted in solids formation. They were also used as a very cheap form of cooling otwer. They should be able to help you.
