simple extrude between 2 differet diameters 1

this has got to be simple but i am making hard work of
sweeping, extruding a solid ? between to circles of different diameters on either end of a curving spline

any pointers ..

Just use...

Insert -> Sweep -> Swept...

...and just select each arc as the start and end Sections, and the spline as the single Guide, as I did in the sample file attached below.
