I have an assembly drawing that has multiple configurations on multiple sheets. In all views the same parts (4 out of 10) will not display as shaded with edges but only shaded. Within the assembly all parts will display with edges or without. I have tried making new configurations and new drawing views with no success. Any ideas?

There is an SPR on this issue: SPR322849: Edges missing from some components in assembly views displayed in shaded with edges.

It may be possible to workaround the problem by opening the assembly, right mouse button (RMB) on the component and select ‘Shaded with edges’ from the ‘Component display’ menu.

I have had this problem with SW 07x64 bit extensively. Try:

- close down drawing and any referenced assemblies
- file > open AND before selecting drawing, ensure 'lightweight' and 'large assembly mode' are turned off
- open drawing

I have tried this workaround with no sucess. Have also made sure all components are set to "default display status".

I would rather hear its something I'm doing wrong than a bug.

Thanks for the quick response.

No luck with this either.
