This article describes a new $10-million shake table that has been constructed by Simpson Strong-Tie Co. for testing their connection hardware. The table can perform testing for seismic loadings on shear walls up to 36' tall by 25' long. Static testing of wind loadings can be done on walls 50' by 60' high.

Just a note for those who might be interested.
