Hello there Group
Im looking for advice, suggestions, URLs on material of contruction selection for a pump and mechanical seal which will see Brine (25% w/w) at 80°C (176°F)
I have a rule of thumb in my head that says >30°C (86°F) on seawater then Titanium is used. However, I dont know where I got this 'rule' from so I am looking at this from scratch.
Also, at temperatures such as this for Brine, would there need to be consideration to sacrificial anodes...somehow?
Some references and URLs where I could improve my understanding would be great
Thanks in advance
