RXLINX NOT WORKING WITH WINDOS VISTA

I CAN'T RUN RXLINX IT GET TO STAT BUT I CAN USE AND I GET MESSAGE THAT "RSLinx Service is not running." DOES ANY ONE KHOW WHO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

i couldnt get rsview to work on windows xp, let alone vista. it crashed my system.

Well haven't you heard of verb "Never change your windows before SP 1!" Windows vista has to many bugs because 64/32 compatibility... Same problems windows HP had with 32/16 and that was not so long ago....

i think it was rsview32 v7.2

windows xp sp2

i remember that there was a problem with one of the xp fixes (KPxxx) that didnt work well with some RS program, but that is vague and all i can recall.

RsView 32 has been compatible with XP since version 7.10. I didn't think it even required any patches. Do you remember what, if any errors you were getting?
