Hi
I have an assembly. When I open it I get the following message.

"This document contains other parts and/or assemblies that were saved in a rolled back state. Do you want to roll them forward?"

I accept the message.
Force Rebuild all (Ctrl-Q), Save it. Do this for each cfg.
Open each part and do the same.Save it.

Now when I open the assly I still get the same message.

Is there a fix?

Thx

C1,

I found this in the SW Knowledge Base (note the last paragraph in the answer):

Question: Every time an assembly is opened, a warning is received stating, "This document contains other parts and/or assemblies that were saved in a rolled back state." How can this be fixed?

Answer: The first step is to identify the part/assembly which is causing the error. SPR 389540 has been submitted to improve the warning message so that the offending part is identified in the message itself. Until that is implemented, it is possible to find the part by selectively suppressing components/sub-assemblies in the assembly, saving them and re-opening. If the warning goes away, then the suppressed component can be identified as the cause of the warning.

Once the part is identified, open it and scan through the configurations of the part to make sure that the rollback bar is all the way at the end of the FeatureManager. If not, push it down to the end.

On rare occasions, this warning may be seen, but the rollback bar is all the way down in all configurations. Look carefully at the bottom of the feature tree for suppressed features. These suppressed features are an indicator of where the rollback bar was. Un-suppress these features and save the part. This should correct the part and prevent the warning.

This message will also appear while editing a sketch within a part used in an assy that is also opened...and trying to edit a part in context.
