0n 415 V TT earthed system, Can we use Residual Current Device (RCD) at load side.

I'm having a case where RCD is tripping when we supply from portable generator with unearthed neutral, but not tripping when we supply from a transformer with earthed neutral.

One of your loads may have a capacitive leak that results in an imbalance that would normally be split or resolved via the source's ground which is missing with your generator.

The first step will be to ground the generator neutral. If it still trips, check the waveform of the generator output with a scope.
Otherwise as itsmoked suggests or other load related issues.

Question is, do you want to run your system as IT or TT?
