Hello All
I am planning some renovations and considering removing a stud marked in the attached photo. I’ve also included the structural floor layout for reference. Could a structural engineer advise if removing this stud could cause any structural issues? Any tips for safe removal, if viable, would be appreciated

Tough to say. You're best bet is to contact your floor designer and/or a local structural engineer to assess the situation for you here.

Definitely the kind of thing you’d pay a local engineer ~$450 to figure out and then a contractor 10x that to perform. Good luck with the renovation.
