Remove excess material in IPW.

Hello All,
When machining and there is a significant piece of material that is left after getting effectively "cut off" by an end mill, the IPW rightfully shows the separated pieces. In the following operation, I have been using trim boundaries to avoid these excess chunks. However I wonder if there is a way to selectively remove these from the IPW before the next operation? Or any bits of advice as I am a noob to level based IPW'ing.

I'm not a 'CAM guy', but have you simply tried selecting and then deleting them?

The picture you see is at the end of a toolpath visualization. At that point, before selecting OK or cancel (which removes the render/visualization), the selection bar filters are grayed out. Nothing to pick, I did try though.

Dovetail question: I chose the option to "Save as component" of the IPW in that same menu, and a component is created as a child of the the main file. In that child the IPW resides as a Facet Body. However, even though they are three separate bodies, they select and act as only one entity and I was unable to delete the excesses. Any idea how to "break" up a single facet body made of multiple bodies?

If you're running NX 8.5 I thought I had a solution (I should have checked before I posted my previous question) but it will only work with Solid or Sheet Bodies. Sorry...

I use to make a fake operation to remove it, if I need the IPW for further machining.
ie. Planar profile with a large diameter mill.

Fake operations is the way to go right now, until "chunks" can be clicked and deleted someday.
