I conducted a non-linear static push-over analysis on a 4-story building. I compared the capacity curve when using stiffness modifiers (i.e 0.35 , 0.7) commonly applied in elastic design and when not using them ( i.e =1).
Q1) What conclusions can be drawn from the provided graphs? It appears that when stiffness modifiers are employed, the structure reaches its ultimate stage more rapidly compared to when stiffness modifiers are not used.
Q2) How can I use Etabs (no i cannot shift from etabs to another software) trial version for more than one month , in my lab i can have access to multiple machine , can i download a new trial version with different email and run it on different machine ?
