HI YA, IF ANY ONE KNOWS HOW TO CALCULATE THE THE TIP Ø OF AN MXL PULLEY FROM THE PITCH Ø THEN I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW..BY TIP Ø I MEAN THE Ø OF THE TIPS OF THE TEETH, I.E. THE MIN Ø OF THE BLANK THAT I WOULD NEED TO CUT THE PULLEY FROM.

If you know pitch dia (mm) and no of teeth, then calculate first the module; module = pitch dia/no. of teeth
If the gear has "standard" addendum, then the outside diameter = pitch dia + 2*module. All dimensiones are in mm.
I believe that we are talking about an involute gear/pinion.

I believe you are talking not about gears, but about 0.080" pitch timing belt pulleys.

I see in my catalogs that the pulley tip diameter is always eacatly 0.020" less than the pitch diameter.
