In our process plant we pipe concentrated Ethyl Violet in aqueous solution. We make this solution up from 'purified' Ethyl Violet powder.
We are experiencing problems with our pipes blocking up. This may be due to the Ethyl Violet coming out of solution or impurities. Either way we need to regularly clean the pipes out. However, using water for this does not clean the pipes to the right extent.
Can anyone advise a cheap cleaning agent?
