I have come across specification of instruments requiring pressure tests.
These are,
- Vibration/tuning fork type level switches
- Guided wave radar level transmitters
- Thermowells
I would like to know why other instruments like pressure transmitters, un-guided radar LT's are not asked to be pressure tested though they come across the vessel pressure as faced by the above mentioned instruments.
