polylines

i am having trouble selecting polylines in one of my drawings. i dont really understand why. in other drawings i can create a 5 segment polyline, select it, manipulate it, and delete it. in the problem drawing, i can create a polyline but once i type close on the command line, the polyline object closes correctly but then acts like a ghost. its there on my screen but i cant select it. i regen all from the view menu and it still remains. when i click un-do un-do un-do un-do they still remain. any ideas?

Hi, I got the same problem once, and I can tell you how that happen but I discovered that when I've done a new sketch I could select it and incorporate it into my new sketch and then I have been able to delete it.
