Do EU regulations allow an electrical PLC panel to have pneumatic lines inside it? I have 12 bar nitrogen at 250C to pressure switches within the cabinet.
You will need to comply with the Machinery Directive and a few others which might be a bit tricky with 250[°]C nitrogen in the panel. How do you propose to keep the panel cool?
I'd say there probably isn't a specific regulation which says "Thou shalt not introduce scorching hot gas into a PLC cubicle" but that doesn't make it a good design.

Establish a manifold or whatever is required outside of the enclosure in a safe location and wire the solenoid cables out from the PLC cabinet. Standards are usually based on sound design practice regardless of whether they are in the US or the old world, so a reasonable starting point would be to ask "Would I be allowed to do this by UL or FM?" then when you have a design which is acceptable to the code you're familiar with, you can then tweak to meet the European standards. Would UL or FM actually allow a 250[°]C 12 Bar gas system into a PLC panel?
