I'm interested in knowing how a 3D Array instruction is applied. Is there anyone out there who has used this instruction in an application? What was the application and how was the 3D array instruction used?

Well not sure witch plc you are looking at but I use 3D math to calculate directions on CNC machines (XYZ). That's not so bad but on a 5 axis machine, forget about it.

I am interested in how you would do 3D math. Would it be possible to see a sample of your code? I am not looking to use it but it has made me curious on how it works. Entering in a coridnate & speed and it computing the feed rates so all the axis arrive at the same time. Sounds like some advanced mathematics.

I will send some stuff witch shows how 3D math works. And how to do it by hand. I will also send (if I can find it) a "C" program that demonstrates this well. How ever it will take me a day or three.
