Hi,

I am looking for a reference that shows an example/guidance to design a pile supported retaining wall. Hopefully, it shows all the hand calculations from transferring the loads from the wall, onto the pile cap then H-piles (single or group) and maybe the use of L-Pile. Do you guys know of any reference that might have an example that covers the entire design process?

Thanks

I'd doubt that you will find many references unless you also will have some form of cut-off below the wall. US Corps of Engineers may have some guidance. Applying principles for concrete dams may help.

You could try "Guidance on embedded retaining wall design" (CIRIA-C760)
