This has probably been asked a few times.... What options are available for a small (1-2 person) consulting organisation, which has a large amount of data (engineering reports, drawings, technical manuals, references, correspondence, etc.). Because of the current work volume (very limited) we need to be frugal, however, a suitable solution is sought.

Thanks.

I have never used this, but looks interesting.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of these Forums?

I haven't ever used it personally, but I have consulted people on the use of Design Data Manager. My clients had already chosen it and needed help getting it set up. I was able to talk them through the main points via phone and email. By that measure only, it must be fairly easy and I hear relatively affordable.

I recommend you check out Omnify PLM.

I've been using it for over 3yrs. now.
It's easy to set up and maintain. No need for expensive consultants.

Good luck
