HI All,

I'm looking for a way to make my partlist with all parts included. I'd like the partlist to have some kind of sub level number like 1 is the main assembly an 1.1.1.2 is the number for an part somewhere in the lower regions of the main assembly. Of course i'd like to sort on this number having all the part of aan sub assembly underneath each other.

Can someone please advice ?

Kind Regards,

Ha Daluigi,

I know teamcenter is doing these things. But i've seen a movie with someone rearranging the collums with the outcome that
the level is visible in the part list.

It's done in NX native I think.

Kind regards,

Lars

I have never seen this , neither native nor Teamcenter.
If you can find the video, I am interested.
Normally in "non teamcenter managed" NX, the ID number ( the "Callout") is assigned when NX has sorted the partslist.
- The ID is a result of the sorting , not the opposite.
Example an alphabetically sorted partslist, sorted on the second column, the "A,H,P" is sorted and placed in order. the 1,2,3 is then assigned as "Callout" attribute, which in turn will update the ID symbols.
1) A H
2) H P
3) P A

You can sort on multiple columns , "first sort alphabetically on column xx, then sort reverse alpha on column yy, and finally sort column zz" , and then the callout numbers are assigned.
( this got a little complicated on my example above so i will not demonstrate :) )

Regards,
Tomas
