Does anybody have the color definition files (CDF) for NX8, 9 10 & 11?

NX6.0.5.3 mp07, Windows XP 64-bit,Team Center 8.3
Running cad straight out of the box is OK but, a system tuned with application software is the best way to increase productivity.

Some time ago I was working on a program to convert any version of UG/NX part file to the current NX version and update the CDF file in a part.
John Baker had zipped up what he could get and also had a Grip program to convert some very early UG version file to NX4.
Looking to get back to it again to figure out how to compair the data in the CDF and find the exact/closest match.

There are other issues to this than the CDF only,
Assume that you use a black background , which Unigraphics had default. then drawing with light colors works very good, maybe light green.
In a more modern version, a medium blue backdrop is nice, but not in combo with the light green lines.
This combination is difficult even for me who have full color sight.

Selecting good colors and backgrounds is not that easy :)

I'm fairly certain that the CDF's are the same for NX 7.5 through 11. Toost brings up a good point about colors and backgrounds; NX has a "wireframe contrast" command that will change the display color of curves depending on the background color.

I think that since NX 6 the color palette is the same. Before there was a different color pallete, so if we open old files we have to change it to new one. In my color palette, I have changed this line:

Code:
Background 0.8235294 0.8313725 0.8392157

to this:

Code:
Background 0.0000000 0.0000000 0.0000000

to get the black background.

With best regards
Michael
