We are being more and more asked for NSF approval on o-rings and moulded parts - but we have difficulties in finding suppliers that have their compounds approved.
Does anyone know a good way to find compound that holds approval ?
We have been in contact with Rhodia and Shin-Etsu, but they dont hold generel approvals for the compounds.
We have been in contact with NSF, but their search machine did not help out.

Hello,

Are you looking for finished parts suppliers or polymer suppliers. It is going to be difficult to find polymer suppliers that offer NSF approval. The finished part suppliers are the ones who submit their blended compounds to NSF for approval.

I am looking for either fineshed o-rings or for finished compound ready to make o-rings from.
As far as I have gotten now, some producers come up on the nsf homepage with o-rings - but when we ask them they either not reply or they denie having the approval.

There are not any suppliers that I know that will provide their polymer to you to manufacture o-rings. If you want help in securing NSF approved finished o-rings. You can e-mail me at dmmyers@erols.com.
