I have a computer PSU that I am thinking of making modular, because there are too many unused cables. I was thinking of going about it by cutting the wires close to the power block casing and ending the cables with 4-pin molex, or similar. I`m not perfect, so I`m assuming noise will be created at the connection, as well as heat due to the <100% contact area and maybe some voltage drop across the new terminals as well. Assuming I make a reasonable job of it, am I likely to lose much in the way of quality of current to the load? Its for a computer, and the way its being used, it`ll be quite sensitive to fluctuations or signal degredation
