missing menu bar in microstation

My menu bar in microstation 8 suddenly disappeared while working in the level manager. I cannot get it back. I have reinstalled without luck. I cannot find any configuration settings that help. I CAN access the menus with the keyboard shortcuts: I use the shortcut (alt-F, for example), and the menu appears, but without the bar. Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyoune know of any configuration variables that might help? thx

OK, I found the answer to my own question. It turns out that the menu bar is dockable. I must have moved it accidentally. Just a few pixels of it were showing at the left side of the window, and only after undocking all my other toolboxes.
