We have a Matbro TR 200 M Reg and the joy stick stopped working suddenly. Al the buttons etc on the joy stick don’t work or the up and down tilt and crowd or the auxiliary all not working . The hydraulics work ok of manually operated with a spanner on the spool block . This lets us think the problem is electrical . We have checked the fuses etc. Can any one help me with this as what to try next.

I don't have any direct experience with this machine, but in general I would:

- Check to see that you have electrical power at the joystick. There is probably an electrical connector close to the joystick that you can disconnect and check with a meter.
- Is there a hydraulic interlock function? (no hydraulics if the park brake is on, nobody in the seat, etc.) If so, maybe you have a bad relay. Or a bad seat switch. Most likely it would cut the power to the joystick.
- With good fuses and power at the joystick - then you probably have a bad ground. See if all the various coil grounds are connected together, and that this main ground lead has come off (or been cut or corroded) somewhere.
