Looking for a mentor for process engineering/ pipe design

I am looking for someone who would be interested in being a mentor for process engineering/ pipe design. I have been working for about 10 years since college. I find myself wanting to spec pumps, valves, and pipe size but just am not quite there

I work at a company that helps design, build, and maintain large Anaerobic Digestion plants. So lots of pumps and piping. I am the only mechanical engineer there

For starts I just want to come up with a game plan to get me where I want to be. I'd like to do it on some other platform than this site though since there is no PM or chat feature. Maybe email or phone or online chat.

I just bought PDFs of Crane 410 and a few other good books. Maybe this is good but I feel I will still have lots of questions

Not to be cruel, but what in the world have you been doing during these 10 years?

What exactly is it that you are trying to learn? What are your goals and where you want to be?

Have you been taking any continuing education courses? Are you making any attempt to become a PE?

No you don't sound cruel

I did Quality Engineering work for 6 years were I did mostly inspection of industrial equipment - learned a ton about welding and materials among many others and got a CWI

Then I worked at a machine shop as mechanical engineer for 2 years where I did mostly Solidworks drawings, oversee manufacture of equipment, and reverse engineering of old parts

Last 3 years I have worked at this plant as mechanical engineer were I oversaw the construction of our plant as more of a project/plant engineer role. I also had to put together the maintenance for all of the equipment. We are looking at building more of these plants. I'm always trying to improve myself. I did not get the opportunity to coop during school and never had a mentor at any job. I have been trying to learn some myself during the last month during my spare time. I always was told of the value of a mentor so I figured I'd ask if anyone was into the idea.
