I am currently working on a project with 67 different sites, each site has a set of sub tasks and all sites are currently on a finish to start relationship with one key date as the start point for all the others.

The problem I have is when I change the key delivery date it does not automatically change all the others.

Can anyone tell me how to achieve this? I am completely flummoxed.

Thanks

It usualy works and you may have tried this before. But have you set up predecessors for each tasks, linking each task to the one before it?

Hey alcri

Thanks for the post, but I've found out what the problem is. I'd cut and pasted repetitive tasks from one of the sites which had completed into the other 66, as in 100% done. The programme does not update or link completed tasks, simple as that.

Answer was to update all the tasks to 0% complete and the link now works.

I must say though, I find microsoft project to be as user friendly as a cornered rat!

Thanks for your input.
