I'm trying to build a 10 meter linear amp (3-30 mhz). About50 watt output using a single motorola mrf454 or equiv transistor. Any Ideas.

Recommended for you

For transmitter, Class-C is used more often. You may linearize with negative FB.

Harmonics may be filtered out.

Linear -- class-A -- has lower efficiency, more power, heat
etc.
