Large ASME Flagnes 1

I have an application that requires a 30" 150# ASME ANSI B16.5 RFSO Flange. The PV software that I am using is telling me this flange size is not an option. I think otherwise but would like to know for sure before designing a machined slip on flange.

According to my catalogs, B16.5 only covers sizes up to 24". For larger sizes, they typically carry a water service rating of 275 psi and have the same diameter and drilling pattern as class 125 cast iron flanges (USAS B16.1)

B16.47 covers larger flanges. There are multiple patterns in larger flanges. You have to assure the same selections on the piping and valves for example to fit.

Usually at the larger diameters (say over 16"), our rough rule of thumb is to go up to a 300# flange (or higher) because you get more metal.

I was looking through some websites, and it looked like B16.47 only covers weld neck flanges, not slip-on flanges.
